Finally the list was announced, and finally this tough year for fashion under the shadow of shrinking budgets was concluded. I'm happy to find out Rodarte won the Womenswear Designer of the Year, though I feel pity for Marc Jacobs. But just look at those thigh high bandage boots from Rodarte, they are qualified. Also, first lady Michell Obama was awarded a Board of Directors Special Tribute in recognition of her supporting to the names both established and unknown. She appeared on film to say thank you. Here is the full list.

Menswear Designer of the Year: A tie! Italo Zucchelli, Calvin Klein and Scott Sternberg, Band of Outsiders.
Accessory Designer of the Year: Proenza Schouler
Swarovski Award for Womenswear: Alexander Wang
Swarovski Award for Menswear: Tim Hamilton.
Swarovski Award for Accessory Design: Justin Giunta for Subversive Jewelry.
International Award: Marc Jacobs for Louis Vuitton.
Geoffrey Beene Lifetime Achievement Award: Anna Sui.
Eugenia Sheppard Award: Edward Nardoza, Women's Wear Daily.

Designers, shining stars, and gorgeous dresses are never apart from each other. So, that's why we are so excited about June 15, the big day for designers. Kirsten Dunst, my street style muse but often went wrong on red carpet, embraced a gray bandage dress from Rodarte and made herself shining. And Diane Kruger in a little red dress with details on the shoulder from Jason Wu, Blake Lively in a light pink strapless dress from Michael Kors. Other A-lists include Agyness Deyn, Ashley Olsen, Coco Rocha, Rachel Zoe, Olivia Palermo and pregnant Heidi Klum.

After 12 day's busy but fantastic events on movies, parties and charities, 62nd Cannes finally comes to the last station - a perfect ending made up of Coco Chanel & Igor Stravinsky premiere.
Undoubtedly, actress Anna Monglalis, title role in the movie, will be the focus and active all day from photocall to premiere. No matter her dark blue sleeveless dress in typical Chanel style she wears to the photocall, or the huge bow green satin dress shown in premiere are both impressive. Zhang Ziyi strikes back before Cannes' curtain down and looks fantastic in glittering backless gown. Red carpet goddess Shu Qi selects a dark colored gown down to earth to end her trip as a Jury in Cannes. Yes you are right, these are my favorite lists of the final day in 62nd Cannes.

I've said it's a little quiet yesterday when doing review of Day 10 (May 22) fashion from Cannes and guessed stars gonna have a relax. I was proved WRONG!! The post I wrote yesterday was a little early. In fact, too early to wait till all the day 10 photos published. That's why I lost Dolce & Gabbana Party on day 10 fashion.
I have to reorganize it into today's review, and gosh, find wherever I put it, it's shining couldn't be hidden. Still, it is today's focus.
Aside of Dolce & Gabbana Party happened on May 22, events in day 11 (May 23) include premieres of Face, Map of the Sound of Tokyo and visage. But what a pity, these premieres seemed not shining enough in face of Dolce & Gabbana party.
